(About the project)

For the 2026 Penguin Book Cover Award, I redesigned the cover of Terry Pratchett’s Night Watch.

(The approach)

I wanted to give the cover a more photorealistic feel, using photo manipulation to bring together buildings and structures drawn from my interpretation of the book’s descriptions. The front cover depicts the violent magical storm at the beginning of the story, while the back cover focuses on the History Monks, key characters in the novel.
